At a press conference in Lagos held yesterday, Nigeria’s indigenous telecommunications network, Globacom unveiled their new data borrowing service tagged the Glo Borrow Me Data.

The features gives registered subscribers ability to borrow data up to 3.2GB and repay later.

What are the requirements to use this service?

  1. SIM Must Be Registered
  2. The SIM must have been active on the network for at least 3 Months.

How To Repay The Loan?

The Glo Borrow Me Data gives subscribers the grace period of 72 Hours to recharge the amount owed which will then be deducted automatically.

If this 72 Hours period exhausts, they’ll begin to deduct automatically from the smallest airtime you have and according to them, this affects your trust rating which in turn affects your eligibility to borrow higher amounts in the future.
